mAiA GmbH & FOA-FLUX

mAiA GmbH works in association with FOA-FLUX.

FOA-FLUX runs inter- and transregional, transdisciplinary, art-centred, practice-based, practice-led projects and activities that are part of its basic research on art.

mAiA GmbH undertakes projects emerging from FOA-FLUX research, as well as ones funded and commissioned by third parties. mAiA GmbH nurtures and builds art capability. We pay close attention to the functions, roles and modalities of art and contribute to ongoing and future socio-cultural transformation processes and to realising art potentials.


mAiA GmbH runs projects in the fields of research, R&D, action&research, education, development, production and distribution.


Who we are

mAiA GmbH brings together artists, professionals, academics, curators, researchers and vigilant citizens from all walks of life and regions worldwide who are part of the extensive global FOA-FLUX network, which is both sustainable and constantly growing. At our Zurich office, between two and five members of our team are responsible for conceptual, coordination and operational tasks.
